My Burrito Secrets

Want to know what makes these burritos extra special? Always warm your tortillas first they're so much easier to roll! Make sure to really drain the beef well it keeps the filling from getting soggy. And here's my favorite trick: add the sauce in two layers, some before the cheese and some after it creates the most amazing saucy goodness!

Family Favorite

These wet burritos have become our go-to comfort food! I love how everyone gathers around the table when these come out of the oven. Even my pickiest eater cleans his plate when these are served. There's something so special about a meal that brings everyone together with such joy!

Make Ahead Magic

The beauty of these burritos is how well they work for meal prep! You can assemble them ahead of time, then just add the sauce and cheese when you're ready to bake. I often make a double batch and freeze some for busy nights it's like having a restaurant meal waiting in your freezer!

Mix It Up

While this classic version is amazing, don't be afraid to experiment! Sometimes I'll use ground turkey for a lighter option, or add some sautéed peppers and onions to the filling. My vegetarian friend makes them with black beans and roasted vegetables absolutely delicious! The joy of cooking is making each recipe your own.
