Garlic Herb Cheese Ball (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese Ball Base

01 - 8 oz vegan cream cheese
02 - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
03 - 4 tbsp vegan Parmesan shreds
04 - 1 tbsp mixed dried Italian herbs, unsalted
05 - 1/8 tsp salt
06 - 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
07 - 2 tsp garlic granules
08 - 1/8 tsp black pepper

→ Coating

09 - 1/2 cup raw walnuts or pecans, finely chopped

→ For Hands

10 - 1-2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Add all the cheese ball ingredients to a small mixing bowl. Beat the ingredients together until smooth and fluffy. Scrape the bowl and spoon the cheese together to form a compact, flat ball.
02 - Place the bowl of whipped cheese in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.
03 - Finely chop walnuts or pecans and set aside.
04 - Remove the chilled cheese mixture from the freezer. Coat your hands with olive oil and gently roll the cheese into a ball shape using your hands.
05 - Roll the cheese ball in the chopped walnuts or pecans, making sure to coat all sides evenly.
06 - Place the coated cheese ball back in the freezer for another 5 minutes to set.
07 - Serve the cheese ball with crackers, crostini, or veggie sticks. Best when consumed within an hour of removing from the fridge.

# Notes:

01 - For firmer cheese ball consistency, chill longer if needed. Adjust texture by adding more cheese shreds or herbs if the mixture is wet.
