Fresh Corn Bacon Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup butter
02 - 6 ears fresh corn on the cob
03 - 4 slices thick slab bacon
04 - black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Place the uncooked corn on the cob upright on a plate. Use a sharp knife or corn gadget to remove the kernels. Add the kernels and any released corn milk to a medium-sized saucepan.
02 - In a medium-sized frying pan, cook four slices of thick slab bacon. Once cooked, drain on paper towels and cool. Cut into one-inch pieces.
03 - Add the bacon pieces, 1/4 cup butter, and black pepper to taste into the saucepan with the corn kernels.
04 - Cook the mixture over medium heat for 10–15 minutes, or until the corn is hot and cooked through. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Taste the cooked corn before adding salt, as the bacon may provide sufficient seasoning.
