Cheesy Loaded Meatloaf Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meatloaf Base

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - ½ cup breadcrumbs
03 - 1 large egg
04 - ¼ cup milk
05 - ¼ cup finely chopped onion
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon salt
08 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
10 - ½ cup ketchup, divided

→ Topping

11 - 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
12 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
13 - 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
14 - 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
02 - Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half the ketchup. Mix well.
03 - Press meat mixture into dish. Spread remaining ketchup on top. Bake 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
04 - Spread mashed potatoes over meatloaf layer. Top with cheese and bacon.
05 - Return to oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
06 - Garnish with green onions if desired. Cool slightly before serving.
