Easy Cadbury Egg Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Filling

01 - ½ cup light corn syrup
02 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 3 cups powdered sugar
05 - 1 pinch kosher salt
06 - 1 tablespoon milk
07 - 1 drop yellow gel food coloring

→ For the Chocolate Layer

08 - 16 ounces milk chocolate, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Beat butter and corn syrup in mixer. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, salt and milk. Beat until smooth. Remove ⅔ of mixture to separate bowl, add yellow food coloring to remaining third.
02 - Line 9-inch square pan with parchment. Pour half melted chocolate on bottom. Spread white filling layer, then yellow layer. Top with remaining chocolate.
03 - Refrigerate until hardened, about 30 minutes. Cut into squares using very hot knife.

# Notes:

01 - Use hot knife for clean cuts
02 - Can use semi-sweet chocolate instead of milk chocolate
03 - Food coloring optional but gives authentic look
