Cheesy Turkey Baked Ziti (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Homemade Sauce

01 - 300g baby tomatoes
02 - 2 shallots, peeled and halved
03 - 1 garlic bulb, head chopped off
04 - 1 large sprig thyme
05 - 2 tablespoon olive oil
06 - 300ml single cream
07 - 300ml stock
08 - 5g fresh basil
09 - 2 tablespoon grated parmesan

→ Main Ingredients

10 - 400g ground turkey
11 - 250g ziti pasta (or rigatoni/casarecce)
12 - 300g mozzarella
13 - 2 tablespoon grated cheddar

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200C/390F. Combine tomatoes, garlic bulb, thyme, and shallots in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil, and roast 20-30 minutes until soft.
02 - Cook ground turkey in oil over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until done. Separately, cook ziti according to package instructions and drain.
03 - Blend roasted vegetables with cream, basil, stock, and parmesan until smooth. Season to taste.
04 - Combine sauce, turkey, and pasta in baking dish. Mix in 1/4 of the mozzarella, then top with remaining mozzarella and cheddar. Grill 10-20 minutes until golden and bubbling.

02 - Use store-bought tomatoes and garlic for a quicker version
