# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 pounds large shrimp (21-24 count), peeled and deveined
02 - 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
03 - 1 tablespoon salt for cooking water
04 - 2/3 cup mayonnaise
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 1 tablespoon butter, plus more to grease the pan
08 - 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
09 - 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 4 ounces shredded medium cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 2.5-quart casserole dish with butter.
02 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add Old Bay seasoning. Add shrimp and cook until opaque, about 30 seconds. Drain and transfer to a bowl.
03 - Add mayonnaise, garlic powder, and black pepper to the shrimp. Stir to coat. Add cheeses and stir again. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
04 - Melt the butter and stir it into the panko bread crumbs. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the shrimp.
05 - Bake uncovered for 13-15 minutes, or until the center reaches 145°F. Broil for 1-2 minutes to brown the crumbs, then rest for 15 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Overcooking shrimp can make them rubbery, so ensure they are cooked just until opaque.
02 - Freshly shredded cheese melts better and enhances flavor.
03 - To achieve an extra crispy crust, broil the casserole for 1-2 minutes after baking.
