Grilled Beef Kafta Kebabs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
02 - 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and patted dry
03 - 600 grams ground beef (lean)

→ Spices and Seasonings

04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
06 - ¼ teaspoon seven spice (pre-mixed spice blend)
07 - ⅛ teaspoon cayenne (more to taste)

# Instructions:

01 - In the bowl of your food processor, add quartered onion and fresh parsley. Process by pulsing until finely chopped.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped parsley and onion mixture, and all spices. Mix thoroughly using your hands.
03 - Take some of the mixture with your hands and mold it around the skewer. Ensure the meat is about an inch to an inch and a half thick.
04 - Preheat your gas grill to medium-high or prepare your charcoal grill. Brush the grill with oil. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 4 minutes per side, or until the meat is cooked through.
05 - Serve the kafta kebabs immediately while hot. Enjoy with your favorite sides!

# Notes:

01 - If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
02 - For oven baking, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the patties for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
