Classic Hawaiian Loco Moco (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 450g jasmine rice
02 - 6 eggs
03 - 10g finely chopped chives

→ Burger Patties

04 - 500g ground beef
05 - 30g breadcrumbs
06 - 1 finely chopped onion
07 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 egg
09 - salt and pepper

→ Gravy

10 - 100g finely sliced shiitake mushrooms
11 - 2 finely sliced onions
12 - 2 minced garlic cloves
13 - 40g butter
14 - 4 tablespoons plain flour
15 - 1L beef broth
16 - 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
17 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
18 - ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Mix ground beef with breadcrumbs, egg, seasonings. Form six 85g patties.
02 - Fry patties 4 minutes per side until done. Keep warm.
03 - Sauté mushrooms, onions, garlic. Add butter, flour, then liquids. Simmer until thickened.
04 - Prepare rice per package. Fry eggs 3-5 minutes until whites set.
05 - Layer rice, patty, gravy, and egg. Top with chives.
