Ground Turkey Zucchini Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
02 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
04 - 1 garlic clove, grated
05 - 1 teaspoon grated ginger
06 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
07 - 2 tablespoons water
08 - 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce

→ Main Ingredients

09 - 1 small onion, diced
10 - 1 large zucchini (about 3/4 lb), sliced and quartered
11 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil
12 - 1 pound ground turkey

# Instructions:

01 - Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, grated garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, water, and chili garlic sauce in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
02 - Dice the onion and slice the zucchini into rounds, then quarter the rounds.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil. Once hot, sauté diced onion and zucchini for 4-5 minutes until onion becomes translucent and zucchini is lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, add ground turkey and crumble while cooking until browned.
05 - Return sautéed vegetables to the skillet with the browned turkey. Stir the prepared sauce and pour it over the mixture. Stir everything together and let it simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
06 - Remove from heat and serve hot. Optional garnishes include sliced green onions, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and cooked rice.

01 - You can swap the zucchini for other vegetables such as broccoli or green beans.
