Garlic White Sauce Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce Base

01 - 2 tablespoons plain unsalted butter
02 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped finely
03 - 3 tablespoons regular flour
04 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1 cup full-fat milk
08 - 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan

# Instructions:

01 - Place a small saucepan on medium heat and melt the butter completely.
02 - Add the finely chopped garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
03 - Add the flour, ground black pepper, salt, and oregano to the pan. Whisk continuously until a smooth paste forms and cook for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
04 - Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously. Stir until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
05 - Remove the pan from heat and mix in the grated Parmesan until fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
06 - Use immediately as a pizza topping or allow to cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
