# Ingredients:

01 - Unsalted butter
02 - Fresh garlic, minced
03 - All-purpose flour
04 - Milk or heavy cream
05 - Parmesan cheese, grated

07 - Black pepper
08 - Parsley, optional for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
02 - Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
03 - Sprinkle the flour into the saucepan and whisk continuously for 1 minute to form a roux.
