Garlic Butter Sausage Bites with Creamy Parmesan Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter Sausage

01 - 1 pound smoked or Italian sausage, sliced
02 - 3 tablespoons butter
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

→ Creamy Pasta

06 - 12 ounces pasta (fettuccine, penne etc)
07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
09 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Garnish

12 - Fresh parsley, chopped
13 - Extra Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Brown sliced sausage in olive oil over medium heat, 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from pan.
02 - In same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic 1-2 minutes. Return sausage, add seasonings.
03 - Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
04 - Melt butter, add cream and garlic powder. Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
05 - Toss pasta with sauce. Serve topped with sausage. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.

# Notes:

01 - Use freshly grated Parmesan
02 - Adjust sauce consistency with pasta water
03 - Can substitute half-and-half for cream
