Crispy Roasted Chickpeas Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
05 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
06 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Spread the chickpeas on a paper towel and pat them dry thoroughly. The drier they are, the crispier they’ll get!
03 - In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
04 - Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
05 - Let the roasted chickpeas cool for 5 minutes before serving. They’ll crisp up even more as they cool.
