Heat your oven to 425°F and put parchment paper on a baking sheet.

Stir together melted butter, fresh cranberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until well combined.

Cut each puff pastry sheet into 6 equal pieces. Spread a spoonful of fig preserves on each piece, leaving space around the edges.

Place 2 brie slices on each pastry piece, then top with cranberry mixture, pressing gently.

Fold pastry edges up to create a border. Brush edges with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
