# Ingredients:

→ Crust Layer

01 - 1 box yellow cake mix
02 - 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

→ Gooey Layer

05 - 1 (8oz) package of cream cheese, softened
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
08 - 4 cups powdered sugar
09 - 1/2 cup crushed chocolate chip cookies (about 6 cookies)
10 - 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
11 - Blue food coloring

→ Topping

12 - 1/2 cup crushed Oreos (about 6 cookies)
13 - 1/2 cup crushed chocolate chip cookies (about 6 cookies)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with baking spray and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a medium bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and egg until well combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
03 - Press the mixture evenly into the base of the prepared baking dish. Ensure an even layer, as it can be slightly tricky.
04 - In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
05 - Gradually add powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth.
06 - Add blue food coloring to the cream cheese mixture until the desired shade is reached. Fold in crushed chocolate chip cookies and mini chocolate chips.
07 - Pour the blue gooey layer over the crust and spread evenly. Sprinkle the crushed Oreos and additional crushed chocolate chip cookies on top.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. The center should remain slightly jiggly but set around the edges to maintain a gooey texture.
09 - Remove the pan from the oven and let the cake cool completely. For best texture, refrigerate overnight before slicing.
10 - Slice the chilled cake into squares or rectangles and serve. Enjoy at room temperature or cold.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal texture, refrigerate the cake overnight before slicing. The chilled cake enhances its chewiness and gooeyness.
02 - Serve with whipped cream, crushed Oreos, a drizzle of hot fudge, or a scoop of cookie dough ice cream for additional indulgence.
