02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
03 - 4 teaspoons ground ginger.
04 - 4 teaspoons cinnamon.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon cloves or allspice.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
07 - 3/4 cup soft butter.
08 - 1 1/2 cups brown sugar.
09 - 2 large eggs.
10 - 1 cup molasses.
11 - 1 tablespoon water.
12 - For icing: 2 egg whites and 2 2/3 cups powdered sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix flour, baking powder, and all your spices in a bowl. Set aside.
02 - Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, molasses, and water. Mix in flour mixture bit by bit until you get soft dough.
03 - Split dough in half, wrap up, and pop in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better.
04 - Roll dough 1/4 inch thick. Use pattern pieces to cut out your house parts. Bake at 350°F for 11-15 minutes for big pieces, 6-8 for small ones.
05 - Beat egg whites with powdered sugar until super stiff. This is your glue for building.
06 - Use icing to stick walls together first. Let them dry an hour before adding the roof. Add chimney last.
07 - Once everything's solid, go wild with candies and more icing to make it pretty!.

# Notes:

01 - Don't pack the flour when measuring.
02 - Keep pets away during building.
03 - Let each part dry before adding more.
