Perfect Roasted Sweet Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds sweet potatoes (Red Garnet or Jewel yams)
02 - 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil
03 - 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (optional)
04 - ¾ teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt (or ½ teaspoon table salt)
05 - ½ teaspoon chili powder
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon paprika
08 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon
09 - ¼ teaspoon pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Peel sweet potatoes and cut into ½-inch cubes. If potato is wobbly, cut thin slice from bottom to stabilize.
03 - Toss sweet potato cubes with oil, maple syrup, and all spices on baking sheet.
04 - Spread potatoes in single layer, not touching each other.
05 - Bake at 425°F for 25-35 minutes, tossing at 15 minutes.
