In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, chives, parsley, thyme, garlic, hot sauce, lemon juice, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, and red pepper flakes until fully combined. This will yield approximately ⅔ cup of butter.

To create a compound butter, scoop the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll it into a log shape, pressing and shaping as you go. Wrap the plastic tightly and twist the ends together. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours or overnight.

To create a butter dip, melt the mixture in the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted.

Store the prepared butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
