Rich Praline Poke Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 1 box yellow cake mix
02 - 3 large eggs
03 - 1 cup milk
04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

→ Praline Sauce

05 - 1 can sweetened condensed milk
06 - 1 cup caramel sauce

→ Toppings

07 - 1 cup chopped pecans
08 - Whipped topping (for serving)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
02 - Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
03 - While the cake cools slightly, heat sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until well combined.
04 - Use the back of a spoon or a fork to poke holes all over the surface of the cake. Pour the warm praline sauce evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
05 - Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to set.
06 - Before serving, top the cake with whipped topping and sprinkle extra chopped pecans for added texture and flavor.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra-rich flavor, use homemade caramel sauce instead of store-bought.
02 - Ensure the cake cools slightly before poking holes to prevent it from crumbling.
