Nutty Browned Butter Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
02 - 1½ cups (187.5g) all-purpose flour
03 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
05 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
06 - 4 large ripe bananas, mashed (about 2 cups)
07 - ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
08 - 1 large egg, room temperature
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla
10 - 1 cup chopped walnuts, divided

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 8x4-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
02 - Melt butter in light-bottomed pan over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until butter turns chestnut brown and smells nutty.
03 - Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl.
04 - Mash bananas in large bowl. Add browned butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
05 - Add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just incorporated. Fold in ¾ cup walnuts.
06 - Pour into pan, top with remaining walnuts. Bake 35 minutes, cover with foil, then bake 30-35 minutes more until done.
