# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or 9×13-inch pan.
02 - Roll out the crescent roll dough or puff pastry, ensuring it covers the pan evenly.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk. Mix until smooth and creamy.
04 - Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough. Optionally, swirl in fruit preserves. Cover with another layer of dough and seal the edges.
05 - Brush the top layer with egg wash (1 egg white mixed with 1 tbsp water). Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown.
06 - Mix together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled Danish.
