Quick Cajun Blackened Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Seasoning Mix

01 - 1 tablespoon chili powder
02 - 1 tablespoon paprika
03 - 1 teaspoon cumin
04 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 2 teaspoon brown sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon salt
08 - ½ teaspoon pepper

→ Main Ingredients

09 - 1½ pounds uncooked, peeled shrimp
10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
11 - 4 cloves garlic, minced

→ Optional Garnish

12 - fresh cilantro, chopped
13 - lime wedges

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Dump the mixture over the shrimp and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
02 - Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
03 - Add the garlic, stir, and cook for 30 seconds. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges to serve.

# Notes:

01 - If using pre-cooked shrimp, cook only 30 seconds per side
02 - Ensure frozen shrimp are fully thawed before cooking
03 - Can be served in tacos, lettuce wraps, on pasta, rice, or alone
