Classic Almond Chicken Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup blanched slivered almonds
02 - ½ cup mayonnaise
03 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
04 - ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken meat
06 - 1 stalk celery, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Place almonds in frying pan and toast over medium-high heat, shaking frequently. Watch carefully as they burn easily.
02 - Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper in medium bowl.
03 - Toss dressing with chicken, toasted almonds, and celery.
04 - Enjoy immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

01 - Best with leftover roast chicken or baked chicken with herbs
