Heat oil to 340-355°F (170-180°C). Gently transfer risen dough balls to the hot oil. Fry donuts until golden brown on each side (about 2-3 minutes per side). Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.

Prepare whipped cream following package instructions. Season with lemon juice and black cherry flavor to taste. Option 1: Cut donuts in half, spread with cherry jam, pipe whipped cream, drizzle with more jam, and garnish with cherries. Option 2: Fill donuts with jam using a piping bag, top with whipped cream, cherry jam, and cherries.
