Sweet-Spicy Glazed Salmon Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Noodles

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 5 green onions, chopped
03 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
04 - 10 button mushrooms, sliced (or 1 Portobello mushroom, sliced)
05 - ¼ cup soy sauce
06 - ¼ cup honey
07 - ¼ cup chicken stock
08 - 2 tablespoons sesame oil
09 - 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
10 - 60 snow peas
11 - 8 oz fettuccine pasta

→ For the Salmon

12 - 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed
13 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
14 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
15 - 1 tablespoon honey

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add chopped green onions and sesame seeds; sauté for 2 minutes. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Stir in soy sauce, honey, chicken stock, sesame oil, and Sriracha sauce. Mix well to combine.
02 - In a separate pot, boil snow peas for about 5 minutes until tender but still crunchy. Drain and set aside. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Combine cooked snow peas and fettuccine noodles with the mushroom sauce in the frying pan. Toss to coat evenly.
03 - Preheat the broiler in your oven. Heat olive oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillet in the skillet and sear for about 4 minutes. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey. Brush this mixture over the top of the seared salmon.
04 - Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil for about 4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
05 - Place a portion of the noodles on each plate. Top with a piece of the glazed salmon. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - You can adjust the Sriracha amount to control the level of spiciness
02 - Substitute chicken stock with vegetable stock if preferred
